Let me put it this way. Most of the people who "Act" stupid online I.E say stupid things, hurtful things outlandish things wouldn't have the guts to do any of it to anyones face in real life.
So if by stupid you mean all I mentioned above there are definitely more stupid people online. Myself included I'm not totally innocent.
Although in defense of myself I totally would stand up to anyone who would treat me like crap in real life just as much as i'd stand up for myself here. The problem is no one has the guts to just come out and treat anyone horribly in real life like they have the freedom to do on the internet.
So I think the internet both provocates and allows people to act "stupid" due to the freedom of anonymity with little or no consequence. No one has EVER called me an idiot or a jerk to my face in real life for my beliefs ever. . . here at least in this forum even though I'm a newer member it's happened several times.
So I say to people grow some guts in real life, or cut the crap online.
