What I reaaly missed about being a yound kid is the innocence. Didn't have to worry about bills, relationships, racism, politicts, spending most of your time at work, and the constant broadcasting of unfortunate current events around the world. Just watching cartoons and going to ToyRus was one of the best times of my life.

One thing i miss is being able to stand under tables and fitting inside cabinets. If someone could build an adult version of a chuckie cheese playground then I can be a kid again!

I miss certain aspects of it, yes, but I do enjoy the freedom of being an adult much more.

One of the thing that's great about being an adult is that you get to hang around with other adults. And while they generally are idiots they are much less so than kids. Also as everyone has mentioned already, sex, smoking, drinking.

no, I enjoyed it when i was. It came time to grow up, though i do still act very goofy. I can still get hugs from mama and manly embraces from pops so I'm fine :lol:

And tobacco too. As for me, I'm sort of in transition from kid/teenage years to adulthood and I already miss a few things about childhood. But adult time is best time, imo.

Yes, I miss it a lot. I had great times and many memories as a child. But that's before middle school. Middle school was a place of nightmares.

I still do all of these things and I'm 22 :lol:

Maybe it's because I don't have anyone to do it with. I'm prone to doing silly things when I'm with my friends, but alone I'm rather dull xD

I don't miss being a kid, but I miss doing a lot of stuff I used to do when I was a kid like playing with legos and dinosaurs.

Some times yes. Whenever I encounter sth or sb related to my childhood past all these memories flood in and I have this sweet feeling of nostalgia.

What do you mean ?

Things like the simple pleasure of playing outside tend to be hard to do when you spend much of your adult life working and being too exhausted afterwards to do something fun and relaxing. Plus too many expectations to fit some kind of socially demanded stereotype, expectations to be rich which only adds on a lot of pressure when jobs are hard to find.

You have to take care of so many responsibilities, like paying off mortgages, be serious, work every day, suck up to a boss you hate, find 'true love', have kids, take care of stuff you need to do every day. Your parents aren't going to do it for you any more, since you aren't a little kid.

I do. But I miss being a teenager the most. I guess I'd still be considered one (19?) but yah, between 16-18 were some of the finest years yet. Everything went downhill from there.

[QUOTE="kingkong0124"][QUOTE="TehFuneral"] is that a euphemism...

Get yo mind outta the gutta
[QUOTE="theone86"]

What fun is there in being a young kid? You can't drink, you can't smoke, you can't fvck, you can't vote, you can't understand complicated social issues. Hell no, young adult is where it's at.

MrPraline
This. And you can buy your own games (which kills the childhood memories of us 1980s kids).

^^^ spot on
