Do you people wear shoes in the house?!

I don't, only maybe about 2 minutes then I'd take em off.. but my roomate on the otherhand he walks around the house with shoes on all the time. I want to tell him why are you wearing shoes in the house? the floors are too dirty for you man?!.but I never did say anything yet... it's my house BTW, he just rented the room. but it's really bothering me, I just don't know how to tell him.

My parents never allowed it. I have a feeling that whenever I move out, I'm going to be the same.

Yes but I keep my shoes in my Bedroom so I wear my shoes to my bedroom then change into slippers.

I've heard most Americlaps do, I'd imagine they would also clap a lot while wearing them.

I wear shoes, everyone i know wears shoes in the house. I dont know a single family that takes there shoes off at the door. So yeah, while we are suppose to respect you cultures of not wearing shoes in the house, somehow you have the right to call us barbarians or whatever. Great. Go F yourselves.

Only when I know I have to do something outside in 30 minutes. Other than that, the only other times I wear shoes in the house is when I'm too lazy to take them off and that happens once in a blue moon.

Nope the shoes come off as soon as I step in the front door - unless I'm running in and out of the house.

I even ask people who come to my house to remove thier shoes (if they are staying for a long peroid of time) and I remove my shoes when I go to family and friend's houses.

I wear slippers pretty much the whole year.

I wear my shoes but only because my roomates dont take theirs off. I'm not walking around on this nasty floor barefoot. When I get my own house shoes will come off at the door.

My family has always been relatively lax when it comes to shoes in the house. So naturally, I've taken after them.

I never really wear any while sitting down though. But I'll wear them when walking in and out of the house for whatever reason.....unless, of course, they're quite dirty underneath.

Well, where I live, you have to remove your shoes before entering the actual house. It's very disrespectful otherwise. So, it's become a habit for me to remove my shoes right away and leave them at the door.Daizengar
