I'd take the mountains. They're gorgeous. The beach gets boring after about 2 minutes.

Beaches.

Mountains creep me out a bit, not that I'm scared of them, but just a weird creepy feeling :P

Mountains by far. Hikeing and biking in the warm months and skiing in the cold. I grew up around tons of beaches but no mountains within close proximity so they are so much more interesting to me.

I love both equally. I haven't been to the beach in several years. The last mountains I visited were those in Montana back in March, near Butte and driving to and from Bozeman.

Give me a beach chair a cooler full of beer and I'm in heaven. Give me a map and a mountain, I'll be at the car when you're done.

If I'm doing my favorite activity other than the given, snow skiing or snow boarding, then I would choose the mountains. Otherwise, I'd rather be on the beach with friends and hot chicks in bikinis. It's a no brainer for me. I'm not into hiking or just being out in pine trees or climbing mountains. I like water and palm trees and coastal town/party town awesomeness. And if you happen to get too drunk, you can pass out on the soft sand of the beach and not worry about freezing or getting eaten by bears and cougars.

Mountains. Haven't been to a beach in years, don't see the point. You get to see so many more things in the mountains... plus they're awesome to drive through (on roads of course)

I would probably pick the mountains, maybe because I live in a city that has lots of beaches so I pratically grew up seeing them almost daily. Therefore, beaches became pretty normal to me.

Mountains. Beaches are boring...unless they're beaches in the mountains.

You just blew my mind!

That's tricky for me. I can get to the beach and the mountains in 30 minutes each way. Beach for bonfires but if I want something more action packed I would go to the Mountain High to snowboard. If it isn't snowboarding season....I would have to go to the beach. I'm not much of a hiker.

I love hiking and climbing in the mountains but the beach is good sometimes too.
