To be honest... no. I don't even think I read the Terms of Use when I made this account here.

Not really. Sometimes I scan them quickly so I feel like I made a solid attempt, but I don't really read them.

Real life contracts, yes. Not the standard agreement you 'sign' when installing a game or random piece of software.

No, I just scroll to the bottom and click agree. Although I did read the thing in the itunes agreement about not using it for nuclear weapons or something like that.

Look what i found in Google about it :
"Services agreements, and service agreements that set forth levels of service, can help clarify each party's goals, limit the liability of the parties, and ensure that both parties get the services and payments they expect." I personally always do !

It depends. Good and Popular sites like this, I don't read it. Shady sites and online order stuff, I read everything no matter how bored I get. I usually have some music playing while I read it so I won't get bored :)

No, unless I suspect them of putting something in there about me signing away my soul to them, or something like that.

I think I read it for the application for the "Junior Apprentice" thing I applied for. Apparently if you get on the show all of your ideas automatically belong to the company for the price of £1.

I try. The first half is usually the same as any other agreement (especially for software) and then it breaks into additional segments that might talk about extra installed software (like DRM stuff) or what rights you actually have with your license. I usually don't make it all the through as after I read a few paragraphs of legal jargon it all turns into 'blah's.

Rarely. I usually just skim over them for a few seconds before hitting "I agree".

I don't read them until after I agree most the time. If there's a problem I'll go back, and create a loophole. Creative legal thinking FTW!!!

Well, I read this site's Terms of Use, but that was after I signed up. Other than that, not really.

User agreements are absurd pieces of legalese. But I do enjoy the attempts of some companies to go beyond forcing the user to click the "I agree" button, such as the ones that make you scroll through the document before letting you continue. Comedy. I pray that one day law schools will start having a manditory brevity class. I'm not sure how we went from "Thou shalt not steal" to the 5 paragraphs it takes a lawyer to convey that message in a terms of service document.
