I must say that I have never reported anybody. I really dont care. Anyone here can piss me off as much as they please, but I will certainly not report you. I think it is wrong. Especially for small stuff, like profanity. I dont really care. I would only report if someone was getting personal, like talking about my family or something. Otherwise I dont report for regular TOU violations that I see. People here are too strict, and cutting down on reporting people would make posting here a little less uneasy. That is just my opinion, what do you guys think.
Only if they're doing something actually bad. If it's harmless (like just quoting someone without saying anything or making a joke or posting just a picture) it's not worth it and it's not good either.
i don't obsessively do it. but occasionally. although i have been reporting someone in a union nonstop. won't say who but it's someone that censor bypasse, and spams nonstop. i honestly can't believe the person didn't get banned yet.
Every chance I get. I hate it when people don't know the rules of the board and act like it's their right to post anything up on a site they signed up for. Whether it's flaming, swearing, advertising or asking for MOD chips, I'll report it, because I'm a student worker with 7 hours of free time at my job. What else am I going to do?
I have in the past but now I don't because I was moderated for reporting things a couple times...so if they are going to punish a person fro trying to help enforce the ToU then I won't ever report another ToU violation ever again. I vow to neve use the report button ever again. Too bad gamespot punishes you for trying to help out.
Where someone suicides their account, meaning they purposefully get it banned by posting violations of the ToS. Which is rather stupid I might add, seeing as mods can delete them in a few clicks. o.o
only if it's a low level person that's blatently advertising, or just being a dick.
if you're creative in the way you violate the TOS I won't report, but if it's just something stupid or repeated over an over in the forums, I'll report.

No, I've never reported anyone and I don't plan on ever reporting anyone. People make mistakes and do out-of-character things. I don't really get bothered by anything on the Internet anyway. I think some people just take it way too seriously.
Blatant censor bypasses (like only nuking a single letter, or just sticking in spaces), account suicides, emulation/piracy, advertising, etc.
Although technically I suppose I never actually 'report' something.

No I don't and I don't care for people that do. If something is so offensive or inappropriate I'm sure a mod will find it on his own and take care of it. The fact that you can get reported for saying b**** but not ***** is retarded. People know what the words are anyway, why does it matter if you spell part of it? The fact remains that sometimes people need to be insulted on these boards.

swearing is a part of life. but i've learned to keep it in check on these forums.
