Yeah ussually Marlboro or Camel filters, but heres the question, how much is a pack over there in the states, im in South Africa, and its like 20 rand (~$3), when i was last in the UK, it was about 5 quid (~75 rand), i was so shocked, and it was like a similar price over in oz when i was there.

Life in general is pretty boring living in a quiet suburb that's essentially life in a bubble. To each his own, I like getting high and drunk and playing guitar, you like...well whatever it is you like anyways.
One last thing, why is it sad? You don't know the first thing about me or my life. Look you're going to die anyway, and there are plenty of things in this world that are bad for you, as long as you keep it in moderation what's the problem?
@PancreasJuice, Down here in Florida it can range from 3$-5$ a pack with a carton being as much as 40$ (ten packs) if you go to the indian reserves it can be much cheaper. I heard in some big cities like new york it can be as much as 10$ a pack :o holy smoke!
edit: Also going to a gas station (convenience store) will almost always be more expensive where as drug stores (CVS, Walgreens) will usually be cheaper by a buck or two.

i have no problem with people smoking unless its to look cool and they only do it in public and are faking addiction. it is more than pathetic, not because it damages their health, but because there is simply no reason to smoke, they are faking addiction, which they often vehemently deny.

Yes that I'm grateful for. What I don't like is that you have to be 18 to buy cigs and a lighter and you have to be 21 to buy liquor, can you believe that?
Nope, and I support the banning of smoking in public areas. I'd also support the destruction of tobacco (it's pretty much useless except for addiction), but that's not going to happen for a while.
I enjoy the occaisonal cigarette i prefer camel regs, camel lights, camel menthols, camel wide menthols, Lucky strike no filter, Kool (yes if you smoke kool you must be cool) and maybe a mild cigar, I have yet to pipe smoke.

What a jerk. Thankfully you're in the minority (or at least I'd hope), because for all the disrespectful smokers who smoke in front of young children and pollute others lungs, there are smoker like me who do it in the privacy away from others (and their virgin lungs).

I agree with you on the ban in public places, I mean you can wait on a frickin cig till you get home, but no you are a jerk if you want the destruction of tobacco in general. It's peoples choice if they want to smoke and eventually kill themselves, just keep it away from non-smokers. What should we ban cake next because the fatties can't stop stuffing their faces with it?
