I do cringe slightly if I happen to be reading the same book as everyone else on the train when i go to work in the morning - but that's pure snobbery, and a character flaw I'll admit to.

Only if it starts with: "I just met you, and this is crazy."

I just don't like when things get blown out of proportion. FOr instance, I saw the gangnam style music video when it had about 50,000 views and thought it was pretty funny. Now every time I look anywhere there is someone doing the dance or saying "oppan gangnam style" and I think its stupid which has caused me to dislike that song/video.

I do whatever I want to do, popular or not, but I tend to dislike popular things naturally without forcing myself to.

I don't try to, I just find that I have no interest in most popular things.

It doesn't matter if something is popular. If it's good, it's good. If it's bad, it's bad.

While there's a good number of things that are popular that I don't like, I don't stay away from something, just because it's popular.

I'm really not a fan of most popular things and I'd consider myself a "hipster" lol. I'm really not a fan of popular music, video games like Call of Duty, Uncharted and Halo, movies by Christopher Nolan, more popular classic rock like AC/DC, and smartphones.

I do like a couple more mainstream things though, such as shows like The Bing Bang Theory and Futurama, football, and some classic rock.

Yeah.

Not because I want to feel unique.

Not because I want to be a "hipster."

Because I watch TV shows, play video games and listen to music that I like. But there are a few mainstream things I like.

I hate most mainstream stuff. Not because I think it's "cool," it's because the mainstream stuff I hate actually does suck.

I think the Batman movies are boring and drawn-out. They're too long and over-stay their welcome.

I think Call of Duty is a $60 rip off every installment.

I hate top 40 music because it sounds painfully generic.

I don't consider myself a hipster. I just like some hipster things. Ever heard of my favorite band, Driftless Pony Club?

Hipsters hate mainstream stuff because it's mainstream. I hate mainstream stuff because it sucks.

No. I think popular things are popular for a reason.

If I test it for myself and agree that it is infact good, then I have no reason to stay away from it.
