With MP3 players becoming so popular and adapters in cars, do you still use Compact Discs? I do. I mean I put a Alpine stereo in the Suburban and I have the Mach system in my Mustang with CD's players, so I still use them. I mean even with having my iPod and a car adapter, I really dont like having to mess with looking at the screen thumbing through all the songs, so I usually just have 2 or 3 CD-RW's that I keep reburning every few weeks.

Nope. I burned CDs maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but not since then. I've had my mp3 player and my computer, and i'm pretty satisfied with just those. However, i've considered making a big mp3 CD and just listening to that a bunch. The only downside would be if i heard a new song i loved that i wanted on there.

My iTrip sounds like crap now, and I don't want to get another one. When I get my license on the 5th (of june) I will burn a few CDs for my truck.

I still buy CDs, but then i rip em straight to my hard drive in mp3 format

if i buy from iTunes, i burn a CD fro back up, and then rip back to my hard drive in mp3 so i can use the tracks on my Zune

I used to download tons of songs from Napster (waaay back in the day) then Limewire but the quality of mp3s i found started to dwindle. I may start buying them off the iTunes store, though.  I've got a Shuffle & Mini so the CDs i burn nowadays are either to make copies for friends or back up the songs in case something happens to my 'puter.

My MP3 player is a much better subsitute for a bunch of cd's. Though I still buy CD's to support the bands I love. And I also will go to live shows to support my bands.
