Its like when you finish making something out of wood you build a birdhouse or bird table. God had a few spare parts going so made a platypus. The way i think of it is like how when people use psychedelic drugs, they sometimes feel the need to draw something that in their mind is absolutely amazing (like, the meaning of life, man) but in reality it's just a bunch of scribbles. God is the tripper, and the platypus is his scribbles.
