Some higher-level classes can be weighted differently. Weighted GPAs can usually go up to 5.0, but colleges only care about your unweighted GPA (out of 4.0).
how is that relevant?[QUOTE="da-big-girl007"][QUOTE="Kcube"]
What country are you in?

I like big girls and your name clearly states you are one..I need to know if you are close enough to share Vday with.

4.7 gpa 800 on biology 800 in the English, and 750 on the math sat. I took basket ball all 4 years in school, and won lots of games (well at least our team did) did loads of voluntary work Did uil and did quite well. da-big-girl007
Well I don't know enough about you to say for sure but you should have a decent chance of getting into Yale or even Hardvard. I was accepted by both myself even though I had no intentions of attending either school. :P I wanted an excellent university close to home. Like you, I honestly had doubts that either school would accept so I was a bit surprised when they did. You can do it!!!! :D

Affirmative Action lowers your chances. And to add to that fact, someone from a foreign country will get in.
True Story: The head of admissions @ UPenn:
HoA: "Ok, so how many kids from Sri Lanka do we have applying?"
Employees sorting out apps: "Three"
HoA: "Let them in"
Without even looking at the applications....:|

I don't know about going to Harvard. I just watched the Social Network. What a terrifying place. Yeah, that was another reason why I had no plans of actually attending that school. I already had more than enough pressure and stress in my life.... :o

'Hardvard' isn't what it used to be. Apparently. Wow, has Harvard really gone downhill that much?Wouldn't it make more sense to ask them?LonelynightExcuse me, Lonelynight, but you learn how to think during college, not before hand.

'Hardvard' isn't what it used to be.And the funny thing is that it wasn't even a typo. Hardvard is actually a secret ivy league school with such noteable evil genius alumni as Dr. Evil, The Architect, The Brain (from pinky and the brain) and Lex Luthor. True story!
