Nah, there's nothing wrong with it. It's only weord if you prioritize your e-friends over you real life friends.
No, not anymore. When you hardly go outside so you can hang out with your "internet friends" all the time though, then it gets a little weird.
If you enjoy talking to the person, I don't see why that should matter.I do, they never last because you never see them. It could be some cross dresser talking to me fondling themselves. I just don't know who they are, and that creeps me out.

You dont know them. Kid yourself all you want though. (: There are people on-line whom I like and whoms opinions I respect and admire, but do I actually know them? No, ofcourse not, atleast not in any degree that comes even remotely close to real-life interaction.
This is just talking text though. If you're skyping 24/7 over cam, then obviously that's a different story. Then you got the body language, looks and vocals to add to the story. So, you see, it depends: Text-only internet friends? Yeah, I think it's weird, but not as weird as it is just plain sad.
I'd take "real" friends over online friends any day (like in the situation you said) but I don't see the problem, there's a load of us on another forum I go on that speak to each other on Facebook loads and all sort of know each other fairly well. It's not 1990 anymore, people can't really hide on the internet when they have Facebook and all their information readily available for you to check they're not a 40 year old bum rapist.bobbetybobI i find facebook really handy to keep in touch with those friends i don't get to see that often anymore and yes i think your right ,you can't really hide on there
Yes
Internet friends are not real friends. You definitely need to work on your social skills if you can only manage to make internet friends and not actual ones. No offense to the people that only have internet friends but it's pretty sad if you've convinced yourself that you have real friends because of a few usernames you've never actually met.
