well if its me whos calling them that ad it comes down to hot and cute they should want me to say cute. In my mind cute means I want to be in a relationship with you hot would mean I want sex now and never see you again. Although beatifull means you have the whole package all without looking like a slut.

All I know is that the best compliment I ever got was the girl I am currently trying to go out with told that after I had served them her friend turned to her and said "I would love to bang him.":P

Cute isn't really a very strong word for these purposes, try beautiful, gorgeous, or resplendent. :P

I like being called cute x), but I prefer beautiful a whole lot more. My best friend said that he thinks that im very beautiful and it's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me x). Something i'll never forget.

I suppose it depends on the context in which you use it.

Yes. They tell you no, but they wouldn't dress themselves up a certain way if they didn't want compliments.

Maybe it wasn't the look she was going for, but women who dandy themselves up want a compliment, and they want attention. Just like how I like how one of the bonuses of working out is a more toned body. It has a tendency to attract women more than a flabby one, and I like it a lot when I'm complimented on my body, and I'm a man.

Not for me. Looking cute is not a fallback term. For me, it addresses a different form of beauty. I don't use it as a fallback term, since I'm attracted to "cute" women more than "hot" ones.

There is a girl who I find is cute, but I don't know if most girls want to be called "cute"... I know most want to be called beautiful, pretty, etc, "hot" (if they're more on the slut side), but what about "cute"?

Cute, beautiful, and pretty are better terms to use rather than hot. I know a lot of girls that don't like to be called hot.

I use beautiful or "purdy"...that one worked well for me. :P
