Do you think newborns are cute?

I'm talking about under a month or so. A friend of mine just had a baby and was so excited. He showed me all the pics of his baby etc. All I could think was, damn newborns are so ugly. Of course I went the polite route and told him how cute the baby was.

So do you think newborns are cute? I don't think babies turn cute until they are at least 3 months or so when they get all chubby and adorable. Before that however they just look awkward....

Pretty much how you feel TC, I don't think babies become cute well after 3-6 months. It also depends on the baby, if parents are healthy and attractive, chances are the kid will be too.

Some are, some aren't. Those fat ones aren't cute at all. But in the end puppies > babies.

Ehh I tend to find them much cuter around 2 or 3 years old, then they really start to begin growing into their own. :P

I feel indifferent about newborn babies but I do think newborn puppies and kittens are cute.

Yeah newborns are still a little swollen around the edges and most become adorable around 1 month, but I can tell you from personal experience that if the newborn is yours then that baby is the most beautiful thing in the universe.

Newborns? No. They're hideous right when they're born. They do eventually become adorable, but not for at least a few weeks or more.

Newborns scare me. I am affraid to touch them. When they start crawling around is when they are okay.

I think the majority of babies look like old men and are not attractive. My son though, and I might just be saying this because I'm his father, was very cute when he was born. It helped that he had a full head of hair though. There's pictures of him in my blog if anyone is curious.
