Do YOU think the Simpsons should end?

In your opinion, do you think the Simpsons should end?

I don't think it should end. It's true the show has had a dry spell the last few years. But last season they really started to pick up and it's really feeling fresh again. I just finished watching the new episode tonight and I had some good laughs and it was all just good fun.

I don't think the Simpson should end just because it's one of the longest lasting shows on TV, and it might have been "milked" a little too much. But personally, it's a special show to me that I've had since I was a kid and I'll keep watching it as long as they keep making it.

I think they should go back to the older episodes and look at what makes them great. There are jokes where the timing is just so perfect it's hard to believe they were written. The episodes these days try too hard to be funny. I don't think the fans would mind much if the writers took some time to just write soem good old quality stuff, though the voice actors (iirc) have always been a bit bossy.

The show started to suck around 2001. It's been 10 years now and the show needs to end. It was great from 1990-2000 but since 2001-today they are terrible.

The question isn't if The Simpsons should end, the question is WHEN it should end.

Personally, I don't care since I haven't watched an episode in mosre than a decade. But if your primary reason for why it should keep going is because it's lasted so long, I think you might want to rethink that.

It should end at season 25. I want to see Flanders get a new wife at least. >.>

They had a good run, to say the least. But all things come to an end eventually. If theres no shortage of fans, and the people who make the Simpsons still have ideas and make money, why should it end? Once theres not enough fans/ratings to justify making more episodes, it should end.

still one of the few thing on air worth checking out now and then. after 95% of what is on the air is gone, feel free to ax the simpsons.
