A lot don't. There were some fat, gross chicks in my classes when I was in high school, and they talked and acted as if they were dimes. I know I'm not a looker, but I am working on it. Ugly/fat chicks should be banned from posting pictures of themselves posing as if they are even remotely attractive. They sicken me.TonyDanzaFan

This makes me sounds childish because I am no longer in high school, but I don't care. The worst are the big fat gross girls who are friends with the hot little popular girls. They seem to believe that they look just as good. They have the worst personality. They'll reject anybody, because they are "too hot." Fat women who think they are hot sicken me and are the most disgusting people. Accept the fact that you are ugly, or work on losing weight before you get this superiority complex.

Ugly is very subjective and some people may find them attractive, no one is attracted to the same thing. What is important is that you find yourself attractive and that you are confident about yourself, more people then find you attractive then (oddly). But again not everyone will becasue no one finds the same thing beatuiful, it's in the eye of the beholder as they say.

I too have read alot of studies on it and they say different things, the thing is thoug is that the human face by it's very design IS symmetric, if it wasn't then you would have an eye on your forehead and you would look like a monster, but at the same time no one has a perfectly symmetrical face either, if you did you would look like some alien and your face would be unrecognisable. Apparently Joan Rivers has the most symmetric face in the world, and I do NOT find her attractive at all lol.

But basically the whole thing doesn't really matter, there are women with asymetrical faces I find attractive like Shannon Doherty (very asymettrical) and Abe Lincoln had a lop sided asymetrical face but even he had a wife. Like I said, it's all subjective and the human face is already symetrical (but not perfectly) and it's fine. Everyone is attractive to somebody....

He obvously has some deformity, but in any case I'm sure his family and loved ones don't care about that and think he's fine. That is a rare case however and there have been people who have had similar disorders who have gotten married. I recommend you learn about different cultures because often people with your view on beauty seem to be lacking that I noticed.

You would be quite surprised, like for instance in many African cultures fat is considered attractive and women sit around in fat huts where they eat to make themselves obease to attract men. In some Asian cultures being tall is considered ugly along with being tan or dark skinned. Hell there was even a case in India where a child was born with the same disease as the Elephant Man and the people considered him to be a God or holy.

It's all very subjective.

Of course. Like music, beauty is subjective. HOWEVER, UNLIKE MUSIC, THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF CONVERGENCE AMONGST PEOPLE ABOUT WHAT IS UGLY. It remains subjective, but largely agreed upon. While people may disagree with each other about which chick is a 10/10, they will almost all agree that the manish ogre woman fightingfan posted was nothing less than an abomination. Ugly people can see, too. They also observe what is considered attractive and not. Likewise, I imagine they know they are ugly. ofc, some ugly people may be full of themselves and some hotties might think they are ugly due to whatever self-esteem issues they have, but that would hardly be the norm.

Yeah, subjective. What's ugly to one person isn't ugly to another. I'm sure to some people, everyone in this thread is ugly as f*ck.

This reminds me of "The Eye of the Beholder" from The Twilight Zone

Basically there's this patient, whose been trying to get these operations so she can look normal. We are told through narration that her face is hideously deformed. We never see her face as it's covered in bandages and we never see the faces of the doctors/nurses around her as theirs are concealed by shadow. In the end

[spoiler] The patient is stunningly beautiful, while the doctors and nurses are the grotesque hideous ones [/spoiler]

I honestly think that message has alot of truth in it, and is still very relevant. So perhaps it's all about perception? I don't really know lol :P

I'm perceived as good looking, I take care of myself and stay fit. I think for a person to truly be attractive you need a mix of both physical and a good personality

Maybe to some I'm not their style though
