Do you think usa would be better or worse if no white people came?

Do you think usa would be better or worse if not white people came? I dont know but I think natives would be primitive. Im halfnative american and I think its better the way it is.

I think it'd be better if no humans came.

As a white male I must say I'm ashamed at what happened here in America, and speaking out of what I know about Indian tribes, they got shafted big time. I look at Australia and see them living out their indigenous lives in tranquility and I look over here and think about what happened.

Technically speaking, if we had gotten beaten by the native Americans, there would have been no USA to speak of.

Also, the whole bit about the blood money that Indians receive after they turn 18 is a step in the right direction but it's not enough.

My thoughts on this topic are mixed, but I certainly won't deny that what we did ruined their culture and society in profound and unimaginable ways.

Would the USA be better off? As others said there wouldn't be one but I understand you mean would the western hemisphere be better off. Again tough to say, using history as a guide I would say that by the time Europeans stopped empire building and started charity work that the natives would be as subsidized as Africans are. There would be fighting, crime, and hate.

Instead of asking what if, ask what we can do now. Move on, stop blaming everything on color. Indians killed other Indians long before whites showed up, Black tribal leaders sold Africans into slavery, and whites made a business out of both. Whites have now made a business out of paying for forgiveness, but few see it that way. Instead most recipients of these atonements only see a way to receive more, not a way to achieve growth within their respective society or community.

Blaming me for being white and writing this will ignore the fact that I'm a 1/8 Cherokee and see a future possible beyond financial pillaging of white bank accounts. An education can advance me beyond receiving handouts and into providing them.

Well things weren't always violent from the start to finish. They just got a little dirty when it was time to literally take over :P. My favorite is the conquering of the Aztecs

Other than what is suggested by La Leyend Negra (look it up on Wikipedia if you don't know what it is), it wouldn't really have mattered to the Indians if they were subdued by English, Dutch, or Spanish conquerors, as all of them treated natives from about the same perspective (spiritual and cultural superiority).

And Europe had fairly peaceful contacts with the East because, at the time, they were just as powerful. In fact, China was the most technologically advanced country in the world up until about 1500.

I assume this is a joke. When white people started colonizing Australia, they treated the native people there WAAAAAAAAY worse than white people did to the natives in North America. In NA, white people didn't run natives off cliffsides, or shoot them for fun. But they did in Australia.

I think that term was mostly invented because the people were mixed up - - because they saw mixing races as a problem rather than the cure to our troubles.

If Europeans never showed up in north america, the native population would still be living in tee-pee's and scalping each other. Seriously, how is this even an argument. In the long period of time the native populations inhabited north America they produced almost nothing of permanent value and were still living in a subsistence based society. They were at a lower technological level than Europe was in the dark ages, and showed no sign of advancing. Natives can whine all they want about how we destroyed their culture and such, but I don't hear them complaining about the medicine, alcohol, cars, electricity, weapons, etc, that they seem to enjoy so much.

Long story short, no, north America would not have been better off if Europeans had never arrived.
