Do you think usa would be better or worse if no white people came?

You're right, all the wars Europe fought up through WWI and II were much more civil. Better technology =\= better civilization, it just means better technology.

That was more a reference to the fact they would not have changed or advance in any way if Europeans had never arrived, not the fact that they fought each other. If better technology =/= better civilization, then what does? More advanced technology brings about more food, longer lives, higher intelligence, better transportation, a better understanding of the world, etc. In terms of happiness or spiritual enlightenments, I don't know. However, I would be much happier to live longer and in more comfort and reach a better understanding of myself if I actually understood the world around me. Technology is just an indicator of how far a society has progressed in general, like art/culture and understanding of the world.

As a white male I must say I'm ashamed at what happened here in America, and speaking out of what I know about Indian tribes, they got shafted big time. I look at Australia and see them living out their indigenous lives in tranquility and I look over here and think about what happened.

Technically speaking, if we had gotten beaten by the native Americans, there would have been no USA to speak of.

Also, the whole bit about the blood money that Indians receive after they turn 18 is a step in the right direction but it's not enough.

My thoughts on this topic are mixed, but I certainly won't deny that what we did ruined their culture and society in profound and unimaginable ways.

what happened to the American Indians (north, central, and south America too) is tragic, but I have to say that I am extremely happy to be living here.

Do I wish things were handled differerntly? Of course

But I dont want to go back in time and undo everything either
