I'm sure most forums have their fair share of smart and not so smart users. Personally I don't know the members that well to say either way, but it's easy to appear smart on the internet.
Depends on the context of smarter...I'm not a visual-spatial or arts person, so many users here would know a lot more about that subject than myself, but then I know a lot about Biology and Chemistry and all that science jazz, so I would like to think I'm on par with many other users in that area. Although there are some people here who know science...Bumfluff comes to mind. Although I think when it comes to Biology, my knowledge is pretty vast, it's my favorite thing...I love it.
I never really thought about it. I mean sure I have read some seriously inintelligent posts before and I thought I was smarter that that guy, but never as a colloective whole before.
I don't know the intelligence level of the average GameSpotter, so I wouldn't know. I have seen some rather profoundly intelligent posters since joining here. At the same time there are people who make completely baseless arguments. I'm not exactly sure how I rack up. Generally I am considered intelligent by people I know. That's not saying much though. That being said, I cannot in fair confidence vote in this poll.
EDIT: Being the fact that I do not know whether or not I am smarter than the average GameSpotter, I think it would be fair to say that I do not think myself smarter. So I think voting no in this instance would be the appropriate answer to this poll for me.
Depends on the subjects, in matters of philosphy, I understand the concepts but can't articulate a point. But when it comes to medical I think I could win, since that is my area of study :P
I don't know, many users here are well educated and really know their stuff, so I know that a lot of users here have more knowledge and experience (in the nasty sense too 8)) than me since I am only 15 Sophomore in High School. But intelligence is really hard to tell, at least for me, specially since I don't believe many of the responses I see in the what's your IQ threads. Although I can say that I've encountered people here who I've considered to be "dumb" to say it in a respectful manner, but most of them are gone thankfully. If I didn't consider the average GS to be intelligent/smart I definitely wouldn't be here wasting my time.

Eh, I don't know if it is nice to be "thankful" someone is gone because they are "dumb"... as long as they aren't going around arguing about politics, religion, and other subjects when they don't know what they are talking about :P Plus, I'm pretty dumb myself... You don't want me gone, do you! D:

I believe she is smarter than the average gamespotter . :o I know she is. I was going to post yes to wiser and smarter...she has made me reconsiderAlthough other thoughts made me reconsider, I have to say Bianka is above average here.
