19. Have had three girlfriends. Have had sex. If you think that having a girlfriend is all about sex, you're sadly mistaken. Having a girlfriend is all about finding a person who has similar interests to you, who you can stand to be around you and learn to appreciate (and vice-versa), and spending time with her to eventually connect with her on a level far deeper than you could possibly imagine. If and when the two of you feel the need to express yourselves sexually, then that's when you should begin to think about having sex.
I am 18 years old and just recently broke up with my girlfriend. I'm currently not looking for another relationships because most of girls I get with expect me to stay with them and marry them. I am still young and I dont want to make any decisions that I might regret(getting married at a young age). I'm still young and I need to explore more.
Wanting a girlfriend and needing a girlfriend are two very different things.
Do I want one? sure, I have a lot of love to give. I have some good qualities.
Do I need one? no. Needing a partner is a kin to desperation, and it would be as if I was treating the girl like some sort of slave who's only purpose is to help me forget about being insecure. (because being desperate means that you aren't secure enough to be single)
I don't "need" a girlfriend but I do miss having one :( I would like to have one but I'll take it slow and try to find the right one. I'm only 16 anyway.

I have a girlfriend...does that mean I want one? I guess you can never have enough. Although to be honest, one girlfriend is more than enough sometimes.

Im 19 and I gotta say I wouldn't mind one. A girlfriend would be a luxury but right now it's not the most important thing. If a girl wants to date me then thats cool but there's not really any girl in my life right now I want to date.
I'm 23 and had a few, but really, I'm trying to avoid it. Yes, to be honest, I miss that closeness, but realistically I'm not in a place where I can commit and that just leads to inevitable heartbreak on both sides. Would rather be young, enjoy life, focus on getting another degree.
Everyone around me will tell me that I do not "need" a girlfriend but I tend to disagree with that assessment. My entire worldview revolves around other people. I am an INFJ personality type. I tend to think more about other people's feelings than of my own, which at times can do me unneeded damage. When it comes to my desire to be with a woman, it stems not from a personal desire to be fulfilled by her but a desire to fulfill her. I want to give of myself wholly to a woman and care for her, worry about her, hold her in my arms and bring about rapturous pleasures of both the physical and emotional variety.
My ultimate goal in life is to find a mate and start a family. I have been psychologically programmed to be a selfless husband and father... I can't go against my nature. Although, it isn't as easy for me to find someone to be in such a relationship. Not only am I not a fan of "picking up chicks" but value stronger, more personal relationships and bonds over more casual acquaintances. Which also means I don't like to participate in idle conversation and am not great at "playing a room" when I'd rather sit down and talk with someone I know really well for hours on end than jump from person to person.
The day I meet the woman of my dreams will come. Up until last year I had thought there was no woman in the world who would love me, but did find one and for a short period of time, experienced what it was like (despite being quite confusing the whole time) to be loved romantically for once. Unfortunately it didn't last and we both had to move on because of the distance between us and not being able to give up our lives to be with one another.
But as I sit here typing this... I become ever more impatient with the situation I'm in. It is a vicious circle of highly desiring a romantic relationship and not having the motivation to really do anything about it. I don't believe in fate nor a "destined meeting of the perfect person" but feel as if that is what my romantic life has been subjugated to. My "luck," as it were, with women only seems to ever have two things occur. Either 1) they don't find me attractive "in that way" despite thinking that I am "a great guy who will make a woman really happy some day" or 2) something comes between her and I that prevents our love from flourishing.
But I digress. Yes, I do in fact "need" a girlfriend... but more a wife, a soulmate if you will. I won't ever feel like a complete human being until I am married and sleeping soundly next to my lover.
yes I'd like a girl who enjoys playing games, reading books, taking long walks on the beach, has intelligence, enjoys spending quiet times alone and likes to do kinky things at parties.
I want one, but not right now, i dont have realy that much time to be in a relationship right now especially that i work a lot and going to college and hang out with my friends. If it's not serious then im fine with that.

lol same here, but my problem is that the other one is a player and i prefer her than the other one.
I dont needlove nor the caring atttitude of some woman in order to live a happy life, besides I am selfish and pretty much care for myself only Unless the girl can convince me...

You prefer the player? Hmm, well the player who likes me is super hot and most guys would give her a 10/10 instantly. But then again, I don't really like girls who are players. The other girl however is nice and not a player, but not as.. good looking? It's weird aye haha.
