Nah I'm too cool to go bold.
What makes you cool?
It seems you haven't been around long enough to answer your own question.
I guess so.
I'm just messing with you, I'm cool enough nonetheless :3
Tottally :)

@Sword-Demon:
I heard that male pattern baldness is, ironically, passed on via the mother.
Can be either i believe. Although if your father has the gene, he will have signs of balding... if your mother has the gene she wont show signs, but she can still pass it on to you. But its always a crapshoot, my dad had 4 brothers... out of the 5 of them, 2 are balding... despite all having the same parents.
I've been bald for more than a decade and I've fully embraced it.
How long did it took to embrace it?
An excellent question.
I was in denial as most men are for a couple years. My hair began thinning in my early 20's and I figured it was way too early. Unlike most men whose hair begins thinning at the back or front my hair thinned evenly across the whole top.
I looked RIDICULOUS. I still have pics but unfortunately IE 9 or Windows 7 is not working with this current iteration of Gamespot to allow that.

Yea it seems Gamespot is slower since the change.
i forget which side male baldness comes from, but i should be fine either way. my dad has a full head of hair and his dad had plenty of hair until he was 92. my grandfather on my mom's side still has thick and full hair at 82.
but i should be fine either way. my dad has a full head of hair and his dad had plenty of hair until he was 92.
So he suddenly went bald at 92?
no, he suddenly went dead. people do that at 92.

My bad but it would of been better if you had said he was bald all his life.
The overwhelming majority of men I see around are bald it seems
Do they embrace it?
Yes, seems the days of wigs and combovers are long gone. Just as well really, they look terrible (unless it's a wig that's so good that you can't tell it's a wig).
I've been shaving my head for 17 years now (I'm 32), so I sure hope I do. Going bald would save me a lot of time and money.
Doubtful that I will, unfortunately, as no male in my family that I"m aware of has ever gone bald. I hope I'm the one to change that trend.
Depends if you're suffering from MPB (Male patented baldness) or alopecia. If you are, then use minoxidil 5%. The more expensive treatments are propecia or hair transplant.

...except he wasn't bald his entire life.

lol, I meant to say he had hair all his life.

what if "all his life" was a 20 year period?
@LoG-Sacrament:
what you mean?
"all his life" is not a specific time frame unless you know the age of a person.

you said 92.
omg. yes, that's exactly what i said. your english lesson is now complete.
@LoG-Sacrament:
Yea your version of English writing/reading is a tough course.
clearly it's a tough subject for you. i'll leave you to study.
a hopeless attempt at making this vaguely constructive:
so here you are expecting me to clarify in my original post that his scalp didn't one day just expel all his hair.
but i should be fine either way. my dad has a full head of hair and his dad had plenty of hair until he was 92.
So he suddenly went bald at 92?
that would have been fine on its own, but here you are trying to place some of the blame on me for not clarifying that my grandfather had organ failure and died at 92 instead of having his hair lit on fire or something.

i have since been trying to explain why i specified 92 years rather than a broad span of "an entire life" of somebody no one on this forum knows.
(although i'm sure i've come off as curt).
Hard to say. Both my grandfather's were by their mid-40s but my dad, nor either of the three uncles I'm genetically related to are anything close bald and they're late 40s-mid 50s.
