[QUOTE="champion837"] He's delusional for knowing how to read? The Bible makes it clear that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one. Which is guess what, why Jesus said to pray in the name of The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Stop acting like people pulled this out of their asses.ShadowsDemon

The whole religion was pulled out of people's asses in the first place.

Believe in God =/= Religion

jesus and the Bible in the post above = religion. Reading comprehension 101

Isn't it different if you believe in them but aren't following the basic principles of a religion? For example. If one has a belief in God but doesn't practice it by going to church every Sunday like the basic Christian routine, wouldn't that person be more of a spiritual person than a religious? A religious person is someone who carries and lives by superstitions and routine. If someone just believes God exists and that Jesus exists though, are they still religious? Even if they don't follow the religious schedule and routine? Someone could believe in something and still not be religious. That's how I feel personally.

Your hatred for religion isn't the topic.

God's existance has bearing on his ability to have a sense of humor. Omni-Wrath's comment as to the origin of the idea is entirely relevant to the discussion.

What you are talking about there is if anything a duality, certaining nothing even hinting at a trinity. Unless you are suggesting that 2 beings somehow make a trinity. I think most would find this to be a stretch.

This is the problem, you have been told this but its not true, there is nothing of the trinity in the bible.

One person's point of view =/= everyone else's. It doesn't matter how YOU see religion, the fact is that there are a lot of people who believe in God, but aren't religious. End of story.
