I don't have any program for anti-virus installed, but my computer is fine. Yes, I do know the dangers of it but I'm not stupid when it comes to internet safety.

Generally if you get a virus you're doing it wrong. I didn't have an antivirus for the first year of having a pc, now I have one that scans like once a week or so.
The only time Avira serves it's purpose is after I have downloaded something. If it detects a threat, I run it in an isolated environment, and if I deem it to be a threat, I may then extract serials from it and copy them into Notepad, but not allow it to do any harm system-wide. Then I upload those serials in text form so all can benefit.
Even being careful doesnt prevent viruses, etc. I saw recently it only takes 15 minutes for an unprotected computer to be infected with a trojan, etc. You probably have a bunch of stuff on there, but of course you wouldnt know since you dont have AV program.
I dunno guys, what about this article: http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/technology/2004-11-29-honeypot_x.htm
