Do You Use Text Messages?

i heard from this guy in America that no one uses text messages there?

is it true?

With an Instant Message kinda thing on the computer? Yeah.

On a cell phone? No, That's about the most stupid thing I've ever seen. A lot of my friends text and I just don't get it. Hell, I don't even have a cell phone. Guess Im just an old soul.

Only with my GF.

Being male I was from the school of thought that said picking up a phone and calling somebody was a lot easier.

But I discovered texting has its place. You can carry on multiple conversations at once and it works great if you are busy.

Some people aren't on their computers all day, so they can't magically send a message over MSN or something when they're in the middle of town.

And sometimes phoning isn't the best option.

If you go on Dolphin, then you get i think 300 free texts if you top up £10 a month.

I only use text mostly unless im calling home

If you go on Dolphin, then you get i think 300 free texts if you top up £10 a month.

Hmm sounds good, but i have a contract on 02 now £25 for 500 txts and 200mins i think. Maybe orange is good now, but last year when i switched the deals were crap, and the staff unhelpful.
