I bought an old roommate of mine an authentic winter Russian hat like that and although she loves it in terms of style, she told that since she just lives in San Francisco and it doesn't get THAT cold there that the hat keeps her head too warm so she can't wear it often. Oh well, it's the thought I suppose.
