I doubt the poll will work, but whatever. I occasionally wear reading glasses for up close things that need attention, or just to look smart and sexy of course.
Fell over and my eye got hit when i was really young so one of my eyes is now bad and i basically need reading glasses now i don't use them, only if I'm doing school work or if its like 11 in the night and my eyes start to strain.

Indeed I do wear glasses. I wore contacts for about 7 or 8 years but eventually I missed being able to rub my eyes and went back to glasses. Lord_Daemon
Not being able to rub your eyes? Everyone says that... but I don't get it... I wear contacts and rub my eyes all the time... is there something I'm missing here?! Am I killing myself?!?! Why hasn't anyone ever told me...? :(
I have reading glasses, but I really don't know why. I can read just fine without them, and I haven't worn them in years. However, the optometrist said I needed them.
I wear my sunglasses at night. Gotta look cool. I wear glasses. I can't wear contacts. I'm so protective of my eyes that I won't even let my own fingers get near my eyes. I don't use eye drops because I can't get them in my ocular cavities because as soon as a drop hits my eye I blink. I guess subconsciously I love my eyes so much that I don't want anything to happen to them.
Do people really think they look better without glasses? Better to who? Maybe you just have/had funky frames. When people are used to seeing you wear glasses they don't think anything of it until they see you without the glasses.
I also prefer glasses because if I dropped a contact I would never find it. I'm not one of those people with a minute flaw in my vsion that doesn't need glasses or contacts but wears them anyway because a eye glasses salesmen told them they need them.
I actually have bad vision. Horrible vision. I'm so near sited that anything more than 3 inches from my face is blurry. I can't see any detail on anything nor clearly distinguish objects without my glasses. It's so bad that no one has been able to make lenses for me that restore my eyesite to what would be considered normal eyesite.

Same here. I wear reading glasses. Most people do wear reading glasses if they wear glasses. multifocals aren't common. Omni focals are refered to as reading glasses. I probably need multifocals but I can't stand those. I don't move my head first I move my eyes first. Plus when you position your head down and look up or position your head up and look down people tend to think you're giving them a look.
