Funny story:
I was with my family at an optometrist's office, and when we had my eyes done, she said my vision was 20/25. So I thought "Yeah, okay, not perfect, but not worthy for glasses."
She then says that it is caused by a fairly new astigmatism in my eye. So she prescribes me glasses.
For weeks I wear these things, and I keep getting sick. My headaches go through the roof. I keep telling people, and all they did was say "The doctor said you need glasses!" To which I would reply "I think I know more about what I can see than a doctor."
After several months, we go see another, more qualified optometrist, who says my vision is the most perfect he had ever seen.
The woman who prescribed my glasses? Gone.
So yeah. That was seven hundred dollars blown out the ass.
