while you are in your house, do you walk around in shoes, or do yoou take them off?

i used to wear shoes all the time as i had stinky feet. then i figured if i dont wear the shoes, my feet will stink less(i was correct, no more stinky feet:D). now i find it so much more comfy to not wear shoes. i only wear shoes when i go somewhere, as soon as i get home, my shoes come off.

so what about you OT, do you wear shoes inside your house?

I wish I could. Dogs piss all over my house and if I don't wear shoes , I step in it i get PISSED. So I wear shoes 24/7 and I hate it. I never feel at home at my own home. I can't wait to move .

I'm always barefoot at home or in my apartment. So glad I don't have smelly feet.

ah yes, always wear socks. my feet get too cold without them.

though i fvcking hate, when i go in the kitchen and there is always that one water droplet on the floor, and i step in it. feels so unconfortable, as that one part of the sock is sticking to your foot.

No and I get pissed at people who do. There is nothing more frustrating than some fool with no respect for other peoples homes. I can't believe how many times I see muddy footprints on my carpet from "friends" who have no idea what goes into maintaining a households cleanliness. Some people seem to think things clean themselves. Now if you have house slippers or something sure, but dont go wearing outside shoes inside.

Nope. Shoes on the carpet generates too much static. Besides, the wife would have a fit. Best not to argue with her.

I'm prone to it especially during dry days. Whenever I fill up the car with gas, I have to ground myself first.

No, I keep my house clean, keeping my shoes on would be incredibly counterproductive as well as less comfortable than socks.

No, and I never will. I take them off right when I get in the door. Why should my feet be constricted in the comfort of my own home? Thats the entire point, to be comfortable. Also I think wearing shoes/sneakers on furniture is repulsive.

NO never. I will take my shoes off at other peoples dwellings ,even when they say that I do not have too. It is something that I was taught to do ,since I was a kid.

roulettethedog
I completley agree with this. Unless of course their house is grubby a sh*t and it is clearly a nasty dwelling. Then shoes stay on. I have friends that are perfectly happy living like that. Whatever makes you comfortabe I guess but dont go bringing it to my house lol.

Sometimes I wear shoes, while other times, I go barefoot. They say that you should wear shoes, even in your house, as there can be sharp objects in your rugs.

Unless they're pretty filthy/wet on the bottom, I've got no problem walking my boots back and forth through the house. But more often than not, I don't wear them if I'm not doing anything.
