Does anyone else despise Johnny Depp & Tim Burton?

It's always been more about the aesthetic of Burton's films, than Burton himself. Out of all the horrid actors and directors out there, I think you chose to pick on the wrong people; they're legitimate artists'. Depp has had his share of flops but has churned out better performances, than most could ever hope for.

Johnny Depp was awesome in Fear N Loathing in Las Vegas....The best movie ever created by humans. And Edward Scissorhands was great, but mostly due to its awesome soundtrack by Danny Elfman.kdt55

I don't despise them, but I certainly don't flip out over them. My room isn't filled with pictures of Johnny Depp, and I don't simply watch his movies to fawn over him like a lot of other girls do... and I don't think that Tim Burton is the greatest or darkest director to have ever lived either.

I often enjoy their movies, but I don't obsess by any means.

Just because its popular does not make it good, sure there are some people who hate popular things to be cool or different, but there are lots of people who dont like something because they jsut dont like it. Why is that so hard to believe?
