I know I do. Maybe hate is a strong word but does anyone else get really irritated when they see some random smiling for no apparent reason, or is it just me?

Happiness is the reason for continued human existence. what is the point of living if you are not happy?
if you hate happiness you are irrational, illogical and possibly mentally ill.
Sometimes I am jealous if I am feeling unhappy, angry or anxious... but if I am in a good mood I like it. It makes me happy to see happy people. If you don't like seeing people happy you probably have deep rooted problems. BenedictArnold7pretty much this
Why would you hate happy people unless you are jealous of their happiness? I can understand if they are those really creepy happy people with those overly done happy voices. But I can't say I've ever seen any except for on tv.
Most people do, though they do not have the honesty to admit it to others or even themselves. Altruists believe that concern for the welfare of others is a good thing. They live their entire lives waiting for others to be miserable, because by their philosophy their lives are only meaningful to the extent that others need them. A happy person does not need pity, consoling, etc. They do not need anything from someone who can only offer recognition of a man's worst failings. An altruist looks in the eyes of a happy man and sees his own nonexistence looking back at him. That is why you hate happy people.I know I do. If it makes you feel better, they are all thinking how much better off they are than you.

Imagine yourself walking into an unfamiliar part of a familar city. You see signs plastered here and there, nearly everywhere, but with just enough space between them to not feel overwhelmed. Guess what the signs say? "Pay attention to the signs". Apply that concept to this thread title.
Nope. I'm only unhappy when there's a reason to be unhappy. Otherwise, every day that I'm alive is reason enough to be happy.
