I just don't like the taste of it in the morning. Only after lunch does it taste good. Water at night tastes the best.
Does anyone else not like the taste of water in the morning?

Now this i can relate to! That is disgusting! :x
Water taste the same to me at any given point of time in the day or night. Is thier a particular moment in time when the universe decides that water should taste sweeter that i'm missing out on?
I have no problem with water or any kind of drink in the morning.
Absinthe is the best early morning pick me up though.
Ever try eating something after using mouth wash? BLECH!

Well, you only live once.I can only drink semi-skimmed milk in the morning. Or any other time of the day, actually. Water is so uninspiring and boring that I try to avoid it.
I don't, really, but I think it's less the taste of water and more the taste of the bacteria in my mouth being dislodged and rubbing against my tastebuds.DJ_LaeSame thing here. I usually try to have some juice, tea or a pop in the morning to get that initial crap out. Then I can drink water all day...

[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="DrSponge"]Drinking coffee then brushing your teeth straight after (had to, I was going to be late) iss ****ing HORRIBLE.DrSpongehrmm. maybe you should rinse your mouth out before brushing? The taste would probably still be there  :o I was kidding, I assumed you actually did rinse. I *always* give my mouth a *good* rinsing before and after brushing!
I only do that after brushing. Don't see why you'd do it before :oDrSpongeStart doing it. Brushing will be much better. First, you get rid of any large particles with a vigorous rinse that might otherwise get lodged in your toothbrush :? Second, it gets rid of as much existing taste as possible that might conflict with the flavor of the toothpaste.
Tastes the same to me in the morning, it's not the water that tastes bad as water shouldn't have flavor. What you're tasting is the nasty foulness of your own mouth left unkempt overnight.
I drink a tall glass of water first thing each morning, I'm a bit of a water nut actually. It's pretty much all I drink except coffee and assorted alcoholic beverages. On the subject of booze though, a tall glass of water before bed after a night of drinking, as well as one right when you get up, is a hangover remedy that gives Chaser a run for its' money. (As the majority of a hangover's effect is really nothing more than dehydration.)
