I'd be a little bummed out if one of my favorite artists died because he or she wouldn't be able to do any more work, but overall, I don't really care much.
Yes, I think celebrities are deep, thoughtful characters. Their musings on philosophical concepts and simple, unselfish lifestyles really endear them to me. Such reserved and intelligent characters as Paris Hilton really... HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Its not like tragic, but when Lucy died back in the 90's it was a loss, I mean "I love Lucy" was huge. And when Bob Hope died that was sad, but I didn't really cry or distress because I didn't really know them...
it really depends on who they are for instance i didnt really care when Anna Nicole Smith died because of who she was before hand but if say Colbert or Jon Stewart died than yeah id be pretty unhappy
I don't cry and I doubt I lose much sleep over it. I don't even think about it that much, but still, things feel a little different. You can't really replace them. They're the only icons that can totally die as far as I know, and that's very eery.
