Does anyone here listen to talk radio?

I do, and the shows are: Glenn Beck,Rush Limbaugh (sometimes), Laura Ingram, and some of the local guys in my area.

Actually I listened to her for the first time last week while I was on a road trip with my mom. A caller asked Dr. Laura a question about her newly constructed nipples and not feelin any sensation in them and telling her about other places on her body that helped her reach climax.

The rest of the trip was very awkward with my mom.

Well, at least I have some confirmation as to where all the crazy partisan right-wing replies on these boards come from. Not surprising in the least.

Yes, it really is that transparent when I keep getting the same obscure talking points (like Muslim foot baths in a particular airport, which I'm not sure even ever actually happened, not that I really care) from numerous people.

I listen to those shows not to be told what to believe, but because I usaully agree with them. And besides that talk radio is a good source for news, and more over its not like TV news sources don't try to interject their own views into the news (remember CNN putting a X over Bush's face).

Usually the Cort and Fatboy show but they are local and they play music in between but the music is good so I don't mind. I sometimes listen to them the day later on their website just to avoid all the music (www.cortandfatboy.comin case you are curious)

Very rarely I will listen to the Adam Corolla (sp?) show.

I listen to those shows not to be told what to believe, but because I usaully agree with them. And besides that talk radio is a good source for news, and more over its not like TV news sources don't try to interject their own views into the news (remember CNN putting a X over Bush's face).

I used to listen to TV until I find out what was a real radio show. Now, I don't even listen to any tv programs.

Dude... grow up people can have opinions, without having gotten them from a radio show. You don't need to attack someone for listening to a certain show, its just what they like to listen to. I don't listen to these kinds of shows because they tell me what to think, I listen to them because I agree with the hosts and its the only way to get news while driving.

As for myself, NO, i can't stand talk radio since it's basically partisan bickering and if i wanted to listen to that then i'd watch the house and senate feeds on Cspan. I used to for a little while listen to al franken on air america because he was funny. If anyone can interject humor into their show then i might give it a try.

As for the right wing radio, unfortunately while i agree with probably 50% of their positions (i'm guessing here since i don't listen to them), they're simply not funny, just angry. I can understand that in rush's case since his brain is probably fried after years of drug abuse, but still, make it funny and then i'd give it a try.

EDIT- oh and when i drive, i only listen to music, metal or boroque.

Glenn Beck is pretty funny as is Laura Ingrahm, and they're both right-wing.

Oh Yeah, i sometimes see excerpts of him and he generally sounds like a douche bag, almost in the vein of ann coulter trying to piss people off, which i think is sad.

However, I see what you mean by him being funny, this cartoon made me laugh.

My favorite is Dennis Prager, followed closely behind with Hannity. Dr. Prager is probably the greatestintellectual thinker out of all the talk show hosts.
