It just means that they have an opinion. I'm all for gay rights but I can't hate you for being against it. Hating you would just make me a bad person.

I think it's great that people can hold to their own opinion instead of others, it shows that we are human after all.

If you simply mean "opposed to gay marriage" then no, that in and of itself does not make someone a bad person. I know plenty devout christians in my own life who would give you the shirt off their back to help someone in need, and most are opposed to gay marriage, yet as far as good people go, you can't do much better than them.

If a person is anti-gay, chances are it is in relationship with something negative, therefore someone who is gay should try avoiding these types of people if possible. I would consider these type of people emotionally dangerous to someone who is gay; so therefore I would consider a person like this possibly a bad person in that regard, but not in general. Usually if someone is anti-gay, they are most likely a non-accepting person in some aspects and I would not want to be around them either. Even though I am not gay and even though I know they do not know any better and simply feel it is in their best interest to be anti-gay for whatever reason.

Everyone has their own beliefs.. If they act out on their anti-gay beliefs in a harmful way then yeah they're probably just fucking dicks. But having those thoughts/feelings doesn't make them a bad person.

A man is defined by his actions. Being anti gay but not getting in the way of gay rights? I consider that a good person. A person being anti guy but doing whatever they can to hold off or take down rights for gay people? That's where it gets a little fuzzy. That doesn't necessarily make you a bad person though. What if this anti gay person does charity work? Helps people who have no homes get to a shelter? Tries to raise money for people suffering from natural disasters? Is a great father/mother/friend/sibling etc? You're going to call them bad people for being anti gay? I wouldn't, in fact I would go as far as to say that someone who judges others for a negative and consider them to be a bad person due to something like that is a terrible person. There are some gay people who act bad. Some taking advantage when they have parades and let their junk hang out in the street telling whoever has a problem with it to **** off. That's a negative quality, so is that person bad because of that? I wouldn't say so. I'd say they were a jerk for it but not a bad person, what do I know about their life that I can actually sit back and say, "now that's a bad man"? So no, being anti gay does not make one a bad person. Being anti religious does not make one a bad person. Killing someone for no reason and loving the fact that you did it and would do it again, that's a bad person.

If you don't want to read that long reply, long story short: If you're hurting people physically or emotionally, then of course it's bad and you're a bad person for doing it. If you're not hurting anyone and are just minding your own business then no, you are not a bad person, anti gay or not.

No. It's an ignorant, morally problematic stance, but it doesn't automatically make someone a bad person. For instance, some people have that stance because of "tradition," which is stupid, but it's not malicious.

First off, you have to define what "anti-gay" actually means. Is it someone who hates gay people? Is it someone who is an activist against homosexuality? Is it someone who just does not believe in gay marriage? Is it someone who thinks it is not normal but doesn't really care either way? You cannot lump everyone who has an opinion of homosexuality not falling in line with yours as "bad anti-gay people." This is a BAD poll, that I will vote on.

You cannot make a blanket statement like this without defining "anti-gay". I do not believe homosexuality is natural or normal, but I certainly "tolerate" it. Who am I to tell others what to do with their life when it does not hurt anyone else? If that is being intolerant then you just redefined the word.
