Does being yourself work with girls? I gave up on trying with girls. So I decided to start being myself around girls. Im surprised girls tell me they like me because im different and they like me because I act as myself. Being myself has worked with two girls and I liked them both. What has your experience been with being yourself?

I used to think I had to not be myself, but then I got a job that helped me be more social and relaxed around anyone, and I started being myself around women and more sociable and it seems to work. They find me quirky and weird and a nerd, but at least they dont think I am going to rape them or stalk them now

Yeah, it found me my current girlfriend, and she's awesome...

When it comes to regular friends who are women, I'm just a nice guy who comes off as a little odd, or so I'm told.

I saved Silverbond's rap in a certain area for all to see.

Well of course you need to be yourself, but not too much, if that makes sense? As in don't bust out skeletons from the closet or your worst qualities from the get-go. You don't need to fake a personality or anything, but if you're trying to win a girl over then you do need to make an effort to be more charming, etc etc. Slowly, as you become more reassured, then you begin to open up. That's with relationships in general. I really hope I'm not saying this the wrong way...
