It depends, if they create silly-trollish threads then sure, but if they're entertaining then I couldn't care less if they created 20 threads. It's just a username after all.

Board flooding was what I was aiming towards. What number is equatable to board flooding, so as to avoid the appearance of excessive reporting?

What's even worse are multiple threads by one person who doesn't participate after his OP.

I'm more annoyed when a person makes the exact same topic as another one on the first page.

I voted no. It's not like they're going to run out of zeros and ones because people make too many topics.

It's not focusing on the person, per se, it's focusing on their habit of opening too many threads.

They believe it makes them popular, but board flooding =/= popularity, just narcissism imo.:)

Hogging forums likely suggests a more-than-insecure behavior, especially if said person makes new topics rapidly in a row. Rather than lambast or slam such behavior, it's probably more constructive to engage said person and find out his/her problem. The Internets tend to be the last resort for emotional help for very desperate people with personal problems.

You don't want such a dude in GameSpot's Forums. Kick him out we may, but cleaning up the mess afterwards is just not worth it.
