Wrong. "Karma" simply means "action". Karma is nothing more than the very natural law of cause and effect. In other words: act like a dick and people will treat you like a dick. Act like a non-dick and people won't treat you like a dick. Act like a doormat and people will walk all over you. That is karma.

I never thought of it that way.

I don't believe in it myself. There are bullies who don't suffer any hardship and continue bullying people over the phone from their offices. Not every bad person gets their comeuppance.

So no.

Obviously it's not an automatic thing, just as not every person who pokes a hornet's nest will be stung. But generally speaking yeah, the law of karma (cause and effect) holds true.
