Does Taco Bell's Breakfast Menu Look Even Remotely Edible?

Taco Bell announced today that starting March 27, they'll be launching a new breakfast menu. But I gotta tell you, it looks putrid. Even the company released pics look unappetizing.

Is that supposed to be bacon? Eww.

Maybe I'm in the minority about this, but would anyone from here eat this?

I have no interest in floppy waffles.

The waffle thing looks sort of edible (though I imagine the real thing is a different story), but going to a mexican place, even faux mexican, for breakfast just seems like a terrible idea.

That menu looks like a hot mess of muk. The only thing I would get out those choices are the Cinnabon Delights, orange juice, and coffee.

Nice to know it's not just me. I know that when you get older, sometimes people's taste in food changes, but that just doesn't look good--even by fast food standards.

Well, they have a breakfast burrito, and for all intents and purposes fast food breakfast burritos are all similar. It's eggs, cheese, meat, and a tortilla.

And then their AM Taco seems to be the exact same ingredients, just in taco shape instead of burrito shape.

And their crunch wrap also looks like essentially the same thing, just with potatoes added.

So to be honest, this mostly just sort of looks like standard fast food breakfast menu stuff here.

While i can agree a waffle full of egg, bacon, and covered in maple syrup isn't particularly appitizing... Their breakfast burrito (egg, bacon, cheese in a wrap) doesn't seem that bad.

To be fair, I didn't really notice it. The burrito does look like something you can get at most other places. But the other items are just off-putting for some reason. I'm curious to see what it looks like when an average person orders one, as opposed to the pics the company has shown. Those items have just gotta be messy to hold.

I think it will cater perfectly to their stoner clientel.

I will be avoiding that though. With McD's and BK breakfast available, there is just no reason to go to Taco Bell instead.

Argh, everything in that menu looks gooey, sloppy and unbelievably fatty. That's just dreadful.

They are liable to be up all night into the wee hours of the morning when they will probably start serving their breakfast.

I thought they turn to dust when sunlight hits them, like vampires--or at least fall asleep before the crack of dawn.

You're asking someone who ate Mcdonalds breakfast at 4am Pacific time, to watch the gold medal hockey game, only to have diarrhea the whole day the next day.

bacon egg and cheese go together all the time, sometimes with an English muffin, a biscuit, a bun, bread, bagel, tortilla, here it's a waffle, the heavy syrup to me is what sets this one apart, but on about any American fast food breakfast menu you'll see these ingredients together a lot

and most variations replace bacon with ham or sausage, I don't see what all the freaking out is about unless someone has some kind of holdup against swine meat

You eat your bacon possibly with you eggs, then you enjoy your waffle and syrup together as a dessert. Makes perfect sense to me, although I can't see where cheese would fit in such a meal, maybe with the waffles depending on the type of cheese. But to have them all together in one diarrhea-inducing lump is disgusting and distasteful.

I have stoner friends (I personally don't smoke) and we used to be up till like 6-8AM regularly. Would actually go walk to a local doughnut shop at 4AM sometimes to get some VERY fresh donuts. Ran into a group of doppelgangers doing that once too which I found quite amusing.

I certainly would'nt consider that much more akin to breakfast than beer, but it does look tasty when not violated.

I didn't even know Taco Bell had a breakfast menu. Hell they don't even open Taco Hell around here until 11:00 a.m.

Breakfast food is my absolute favorite. There is nothing better than eggs, hashbrowns, and heavenly bacon.

That thing does not look very appetizing at all, but I'd be willing to give it a try.

Rarely eat fast food, but as I typically end up doing when this dumb shit comes out, I'll probably try it once.

I'm becoming less enthused about fast food all the time, especially the national burger chains. Some regional places are decent, but for lunch and dinner, not breakfast.

Considering my breakfasts tend to consist of either cereal or a Glass of milk, slice of bread with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato and cucumber.

Then I wouldn't call that breakfast.
