I'm just curious to see who thinks their vote is actually counted/makes a difference.

Elections are rigged...McCain is friends with Hillary who is friends with Bush who is friends with so and so and so on and so on....

It's all the same group fighting for the same power and they mobilize the voters through fear and hatred.

No, because either way, I don't think there would be much 'change'.

I like how you're using a poll to tell us that voting is pointless.

If everyone voting for say McCain thought their vote didnt count so they decided not to vote, dont you think that would have an impact? Yes every vote counts, if we all believe other wise it would be an interesting election.

No, not really. The will of an individual is weak and often times does absolutely nothing at all. Hell, if one vote mattered, then why would the country be stuck with a president they hate? Wouldn't those individuals speak their mind to begin with? And electoral college basically means "we'll count your votes, but they won't matter".

voting in the primares is worthless because "super delegates" are the ones that decide who is going to run and voting in the actual election is pointless because the electoral college are the ones that actually cast a vote...it is all pointless

Didn't Bush win legally? Twice? Even if he didn't win the popular vote, it's a flaw in your electoral college system, not the fact that votes weren't tallied. Individuals are weak on their own, but if everybody who wanted change thought that way and didn't vote, nothing would get done.

And since I don't live in the States, I think my vote counts here.
