I love though whole Dragonball franchise. I am buying up the DVD re-releases like crazy. The live action movie doesn't exist to me and is merely an urban legend spread by evil soulless people. Pokemon is a horrible show. I could never understand why Ash has like 3 or 4 pokemon. He either just doesn't catch them or lets them go. I mean I would just follow him around and collect scraps. Hey can hold onto your charizard for a while......sure! It frustrates me. He wants to be a pokemon master yet he doesn't have the attitude of someone who would be the master of something.

its awesome but it gets repetitive. it got to a point where it was no longer about battle skill or the will to fight, it became about having a bigger power level
It's childish, unfunny and the action and characters are sub-par.
I could say the same about DBZ though. -_-"
DBZ is childish but not embarrassingly so, it's largely unfunny but then again it's mot trying to be. The action is far better than dragonball and the villians are better I reckon. BTW I'm judging Dragonball by the manga not the anime (haven't watched them).
