Drawing 100 different characters in 5 minutes

Hey guys, I'm taking part in a online contest and need all the help I can get to win. I made a 5 minute long video showing how I painted approximately 100 different characters using photoshop, painter and my wacom tablet. You can check it out here:

To help me win the contest, just click under "Rate this video". I've been drawing since I was a kid, and the last few years I've been pursuing it as a career.. I still have a lot to learn though, but thats fine. Anyways, check out the video and lemme hear what you think of it.

If anyone wonders, I've been a longtime lurker on the forums and used to have a gamespot premium membership back when they were giving out betakeys for world of warcraft.. ah the memories :P During that period I saw a steady decrease in my drawing skills, damn you molten core and 8 hour raids!

Heh yeah, I've always found girls to be a more interesting subject. Wonder why :) As for the TOS it read something about a user being permitted to post links to interesting sites once, as long as they didn't contain scams or pyramid schemes. I wouldn't hardly call showing an artvideo a scam :P

Just one question, on the first girl you drew, I saw you opted to draw the nipples only to cover them up :lol: why exactly did you do that? haha

Because I've got a perverted mind! Actually I often start by drawing my characters naked and then afterwards I draw the clothing. That way I'm sure the underlying proportions are correct. I guess that doesn't explain the nipples though :P

thats pretty damm good, but when yuou added the colour some of the girls seemed to be in a huge amount of shadowmarkop2003

Yeah I might have overdone it a bit. I didn't spend that much time coloring this thing, maybe I should have given it an hour or two more :)

I think I spent 7 or 8 hours painting this thing.

While from an artistic point of view it may have been poor in tmers of composition and color and whatnot, your variety, speed, and sense of who people are are quite mindblowing. I would like to see some of your other stuff if at all possible.

Heh yeah, it's often like that when you look at paintings at low resolutions. Wish they looked as realistic at high res :P

Your avatar looks good though! You should download the demos of painter x and photoshop to try something better than ms paint.

Why can't you use it? All shortcuts are customizable and you can move menues arround as you please :)
