Well, its my hometown; born and raised.
You can call it whatever you want, but I really love this place and I enjoy lots of benefits provided to me here. It is not perfect, there are a lot of problems. and no, we are not as big or wealthy as you imagine us to be, but we do enjoy a community bond between each other... but forget Dubai, Its a great feeling knowing that an entire nation is ready to move its resources to help a mere citizen out; I've had many arabs and non arabs confess that they are jealous of this. Also, we interact with many westerns and easterns, there is a reason that my fathers and forefathers do know how to speak different languages. I'm sure I never met anyone who was forced to come and work here, and I've met a lot of people and from various ethnicities.. better yet, the people I know have loyalty to this place as much as we natives do, some who even lived here before I was even born.
Also, we sure as hell don't admit that we've acomplished any of this on our own. Heck, most of us are just decendants of bedouins, fishermen, and merchants.

About that.. I never really understood what happened after the contradicted mossad assasination, but I guess Israeli passports are not acknowledged as a traveling document.
But we do have lots of European Jews here.
well , Israeli passports are not allowed in most Arab states, so thats what I meant, as for Egypt, we both know it would pretty dangerous (despite the fact that I would be allowed in) I think the only other Arab states I would be allowed to visit would be Jordan , Tunisia and Morocco , Morocco would be one place worth visiting since I wouldn't mind seeing the place my grandmother lived in. (though its probably very different than what it was 60 years ago)
