I'm pretty sure that it's already been sufficiently put to rest. The only ones still looking for the Loch Ness Monster are the people who the rest of the world shrugs their shoulders at and says, "meh, if they want to waste their time looking for it, then that's not my problem."
I really mean this when I say it... I truely hope, from the bottom of my heart this stupid man didn't spend 26 years looking for this stupid Loch Ness monster. If so, well, *sigh*... I dunno, guess some people will never learn.
Desperate people who are looking for something that doesn't exist that long will twist everything they see into evidence that it does. It's like those pathetic Bigfoot and ghost hunting programmes on Discovery or History Channel or wherever they're broadcasting now.
If he was half a mile away, how did he get so far above the water to get that angle?

Might just be a tourist thing but the lake, and everything surrounding it, is really beautiful. Went as part of a tour through the Highlands when I was in Edinburgh a few years ago. The Nessie labeled beer on the boat wasn't bad either, lol.
