Psh regular show is way funnier. I've never sat dwn and watched an episode of that show, the charecter's seem uninteresting to me idk lolHow can you say Adventure Time is the best show on CN when you haven't even watched an episode or two of everything they have on? So you're not even in a position to judge.[QUOTE="cain006"]

Ok. Ok. You got me >_> lol I've seen it on television but I just changed the channel because it didn't seem too interesting. I'll give it a try though, it's on all the time basically lol.I've never sat dwn and watched an episode of that show, the charecter's seem uninteresting to me idk lolHow can you say Adventure Time is the best show on CN when you haven't even watched an episode or two of everything they have on? So you're not even in a position to judge.[QUOTE="marluxia101"]

adventure time and regular show really? i will never get the appeal.
give Johnny bravo or animaniacs any day.
No, Ed, Edd, & Eddy were Ed, Edd, & Eddy.
Dont compare it to no Spongebob Bullshit.
And Cartoonnetwork had a shit load of cartoons durring the Ed, Edd, Eddy era.
To actually pick out a single cartoon out and say that that one was the highlight of that era is impossible.

Ed edd n eddy were the best of the old gaurrd. Friday was the best when I was a kid because new episodes of ed edd n eddy, johnny bravo, power puff girls, dexters lab, kids next door. These new shows honesty cant hold a candle, I dont care what any 27 year old Brony(I am twenty years old and for the life of me can not underdtand my little pony fans) has to say.

you would only have to be around 18 to have seen the golden era of 90's animation...
but i am old... so thanks for reminding me.:(
I miss Ed, Edd, and Eddy and no, I don't think it's Cartoon Network's Spongebob. Newer seasons were still better and the movie was pretty top notch.
Ed Edd n' Eddy was great too, but once a show gets to that great tier to me I try to not compare it to other shows I like. So I view a bunch of shows like it, Regular Show, Misadventures of Flapjack, Spongebob, etc. as all about the same. Actually screw that Misadventures of Flapjack is probably my favorite kids cartoon of all time. It's that good.Ed, Edd n' Eddy, still one of my favorite cartoons to this day.
I Prefer it over Adventure Time and Regular Show. Not saying those two shows are bad, I actually really like them, but in comparison to E,E,n'E, they're no match.

I don't like Johnny Bravo but Animaniacs is great. Regular Show is kind of different, but I think once you watch 3-4 episodes you really get into the recurring jokes. I have no clue why, but the OOOOHHHHH thing is hilarious almost every time even though they do it every other episode. They also do little sequences where they do a little jingle type thing every once in a while kind of similar to when they repeat stuff in a high pitched voice in misadventures of flapjack.adventure time and regular show really? i will never get the appeal.

Anyway once you get in on the jokes is when it really gets funny.
I don't think I watched the whole thing in one sitting but the ending is freaking sad.I miss Ed, Edd, and Eddy and no, I don't think it's Cartoon Network's Spongebob. Newer seasons were still better and the movie was pretty top notch.

flapjack was the last good CN show for me. And only then because it deeply reminded me of Ren and Stimpy.
I've watched a few Ren and Stimpy shows but I don't really like it. They relied way too much on the art and there would be sequences that last way too long. Really most cartoons should be 15 minutes counting commercials like Regular show. That's part of what I like about it, they really cut out all the useless and boring stuff in the show and it's only been a few episodes ever that I haven't laughed.flapjack was the last good CN show for me. And Misadventures of Flapjack is great. I love how they aren't afraid to change the art style like Courage the Cowardly dog. And there's some great characters on there, doctor barber is freaking hilarious.

gross close ups was kind of it's thing.

I know but Misadventures of flapjack was better at it. Ren and Stimpy would spend way too long on the shots. And when I mentioned courage it's because courage generally did it to scare you, ren and stimpy did it to make you laugh.[QUOTE="frannkzappa"]

it wasn't meant to be nonstop comedy. it was a vehicle for surrealism, satire, parody and more than a little of the creators perverted personality.
point it wasn't meant to be a show were you are constantly laughing. you were supposed to be creeped out, grossed out or mind f@cked than outright ammused.

Eh I get a lot of that from Metalocalypse. I guess I didn't approach it right though and I'll give it another shot.ÂIt was great back in the day, but the two best shows ever on CN were Megas XLR and Samurai Jack. And I'm no wapanese.

I hated it too, it was so stupid and dumb. I even had their game for the Super Nintendo and it just made me hate them even more. Literally one of the worst cartoons ever.seasons 1-3 of spongebob are my favorite cartoons of all time.
Ed Edd and Eddy was okay, though I was never crazy about it myself.
