Although it does sound odd, really everything you learn in 12th grade is just reviewing stuff you've already learned, and a few new things, definately could do without really.

It's Ontario. And I agree. I know many people who go back for a "victory lap" anyway, either to upgrade classes or simply because they're unsure of their future. Grade 13/OAC should be brought back, assuming it makes sense to.I think they should bring grade 13 back. (canada).

Bad idea. It's the last time opportunity you have to get to sleep with a women at the age of 17/18.
Also it's supposed to be the best year, that's if the school has the money.
In the UK, I believe, you graduate high school at 16 at which point you have the option of going on to GCSEs for two years before heading off to university. However, I'm not terribly familiar with the UK's school system and I could be dead wrong on all of that. Plus, I'm not sure how the GCSE cIasses would correlate to American education levels (it would seem from what I've seen British users on here and other sites saying about it that GCSE cIasses are more like AP cIasses in the US than the actual start of college). So perhaps 12th grade isn't that necessary after all, although either way imo the US still has a ways to go in education reform before we can start thinking about shortening the length of students' educational careers.

No, in the UK we do GCSE's at 16, then you can choose to go to "College" and do whats called A Levels and then go University at 18 or 19. Most just finish education at 16 or they carry on and fail theirA levels, but still get into a **** university, to get a useless degree.
I think the American system is better, but I don't see why you have to spend four years at university, you should be able to get a degree in 3 years easily.
