Do you consider eggs protein or dairy? This topic was discussed in my one college class. Some people said eggs are a protein since people eat them for the protein if they exercise.

Protein. Eggs contain significant protein, but the clincher is that dairy products are considered to be milk based products.
Before today, I was under the impression it was both.
