Election Philippines 2010

For my fellow filipino ( half-filipino or full filipino ) , what are your expectations for the coming election? why? , ( non-filipinos are also free to post )

I feel ashamed also about knowing nothing about this as well , am Scottish/Irish and currently living in Scotland.

um.. estrada running again is.. um.. weird. half-***, half-philipina.. :D

To tell the truth I care more about Dragon Age: Origins than the petty political squabbles here. It was true when they said that it's only in the Philippines where the actors run the country and the politicians provide the entertainment.

In a nutshell:

A former president who got impeached (i.e. forcibly removed from office) decides to run again, and detractors say he can't be reelected due to the law. His supporters say he'll only finish the term which he didn't finish due to his impeachment, which technically isn't the same as a reelection, if the masses are willing to let him play it out.

I call bullcrap. I stopped caring about my country's politics since some old action movie star decided to run for president, God bless his soul.

and talk about non-dying issues during election like vote buying, flying voters, speculations of a forged result and even issues of long dead people voting for the election

I heard something about Pacquio going for Parliament? How's that gonna work? Both boxing and Parliament seem like full time jobs.
