Eminem? (poll)

I've been curious about what everyone thinks about the rapper Eminem apparent by my sig and several posts, I love eminem

but im just curious wat is the general opinion on him? MY opinion won't change but im all ears.

He's pretty good.

EDIT: I'm sure you can see who my favorite rappers are though.

I can name about 50 other rappers id like to listen to before Em.

I dont like his goofy rhymes, i like his more serious darker rhymes.

Eminem isn't that good of a rapper.

He kinda sucks.

I like some of his stuff, especially "The Eminem Show", and "Encore". His early work was alright, but he seems to have matured as an artist in the past years.muthsera666

I thought Encore was horrible. Don't see how you could say he was maturing when he made that... :| I've never seen him more immature other than album...

Lyrically, no one can match him, and Saigon himself at best, an Obie Trice (Obie is a good rapper himself, and Eminem's true protege). He killed Jay-Z on his own track in the Blueprint, and Jay-Z that time was considered the Greatest Rapper of All Time. However, he's starting to fall off around the Eminem Show, and really didn't have much by the time Encore hits. Part of it is that he could no longer balance his personas the way he could on SSLP and MMLP. He has a new album coming up, and if what the artists that are working with him say is true, then that album could solidify his position as the GOAT, and bring Lil' Wayne back down to earth.hiphops_savior

I know Eminem has it in him to return to his epic status, and he really hope what they're saying is true, that he's really focused this time. But heh... That track Renegade is a classic, and I've never seen someone get owned on their own track like that since Canibus handed LL Cool J's ass to him on 3..2..1. :lol: But yeah, Eminem wasn't the only one to kill Jay Z on his own track. I remember when Big L owned him when they were doing a freestyle together. Man, I wish I still had that track... :(
