Not all of them. What I mean though, was that it the performances were wild and crazy..... you know what I mean? :PPickGlove243
Kind of. I suppose you can blame the gernalizing for the negative rap though. All I hear is songs about suicide, and people non-stop whining about there lives in what is classified as emo.

I don't mind emo. I used to really be into Grade. I still religiously listen to Boy Sets Fire though. It's absolutely hilarious how someone can hate a genre of music so badly. Especially when said person listens to gangsta rap which talks about sex and violence. Sorry spitting rhymes and beats aren't music.

I loved the emo genre when I was in the fifth grade, but as I became a musician I relized It doesn't require much talent.

There are good emo bands who have talent. I am mainly into mathcore, grind, and trash, but I can still recognize that some emo bands are talented.

they're good but their songs are way too short. i like screamo that builds up, not something that ends in like 10 seconds.

I'm into the short blasts.

Stuff that builds can be good too, but I have to be in the right mood for it.

baba2

Same can be asked back to you my friend, How can you guys listen to a grown man sing about a candy shop?

Atleast our music has feeling and emotion and are not just singing about having a hit record, rolling in money, being hated by the police or being shot.

I don't want this to sound like an attack on your character, I'm just stating my opinion of the music. :)

yeah music about slitting your wrist because you saw your girlfriend giving you a wierd look is A LOT better.

[QUOTE="CrimzonTide"][QUOTE="PickGlove243"]But it's not sad. Why does everyone think it's sad?PickGlove243

...Isn't that why it's called emo?

It's called emo because the band's performance were very emotional. Not sad emotional, but very energetic...

Emo stands for emotive hardcore, a sub-genre of punk. That song was not energetic and didn't even fit "emo" by its own standards.

What do you consider emo....as I said I rely on music sites...not kids on a forum.

Aol Music...both bands...emo. That's two music sites to you...I'm going with the music sites on this dude.
