but exactly whats the difference between metal head or goth hair styles from emo?
cause most of my friends r either goth or death metal junkies who have the typical "emo" hairstyle when they're certainly not emo
a lot of emos straighten their hair, so, um get a hair straightener?skullkrusher13
Yea I figuired i'd have to straighten my hair, its kinda curly around the edges but I might also go for a *messy emo style* look :P

Metalheads of course have their hair grown, but each person has their own style you know, from every music genre.

oh god, lets not start this old story again...
No offense or anything man, but the emo style isn t as hot as a lot of people think it is. And ya, i ve tryed dying my hair black, and it s already pretty straight, and it doesn t look all that great as some people might think. Also, imo, it s a sort of over-used hair style and really makes that person less... original. So, if you re going to get "emo" hair, i d suggest going for the whole look (black clothes, black nails, piercings, etc.), but in all honesty, the "punk/emo" look is getting overused...Setsa
yea, one of my friends styled his hair like that over the summer. and it looks terrible. actually, me and my other friends have been ripping on him for it.
o, and i hate when guys have black finernails. i love when girls do it, but on guys.....not so much
That video scared me... heh
Anyway, why do you think that the emo style makes people look "hot" ?? To me it makes you look like a... umm
*leaves*
I think of "Emo" to be more of a Style then a type of person, I think its an Awsome style and alot of people at my school are like that, it seems to be getting more popular, I guess that sounds like I am just doing what everyone says is cool...Well im not, Emo's are really disliked by alot of other people, because of False Stereotype References. But I could careless what other think, its just a style, live with it.

That's the spirit! Good on you.
I think it's a great look and eventhough so far I haven't fully implemented it, one thing that you will definitely need is a pair of straighteners. Besides that, it's pretty free form, just work an interesting angle and i'm sure you'll get what you like. From there, i'd go into the highlights, but it's best to do the stuff that's easily changable first before you move onto the more permanent things.HandsomeDead
Thanks for the Tips, I like the Combo's of Blackwith brown highlightsor Black with Blonde Highlights, so ill probably test them out before I do anything to crazy or permanent.
You don't need to spend an hour on your hair every day unless it's curly, and depends how. Just do what you want.Zaeryn
Yea mines not really that curly but it isn't really Straight either, Its more like a "Messy" look. :P

My hair is not exactly emo (or scene, as some people call it), or do I wear much of the clothing style, but I know quite a few people who do, and my hair is about the length of most hair styles of that type. My hair is perfectly straight, but you need to wash it good every day or second day, and comb it. Lol, my hair is kind of "messy" too, I used to just mess it with water and hairspray it, and have my bangs combed. Overall depends if you want to spend a while on hair, and if you care for the clothing style too. Yeah, having both sides of your hair long is definately something that looks cool. My bangs are only down to my lip or so, I just comb it to the right having my entire forehead covered in hair, and kind of flipping out near the right side, if that makes sense. Still growing it though. I'm just kind of sick of hair falling in my face because I hate hair in my eyes. I said in some other thread my hair is sort of like L from Death Note but brown, something like that. Nah, I just have my hair like that, and wear normal jeans and a t-shirt of a punk rock band like anti-flag, or some striped shirts or polo's or something, and some old skate shoes with yellow laces... not too emo lol. I tried a lot of things, but at least I found this to be more presentable in public than having bangs covering an entire side of your face... blah, not a fan of that. Hopefully what I said helped, if I didn't stray too far off topic.
